On June 10–11 in Stockholm, the Nordic Ukraine Advocacy Summit brought together 25 participants from the Nordic countries and Ukraine. The meeting aimed to strengthen international cooperation and advocacy for Ukraine in order to jointly bring victory closer.

At the event, Solomiia Khoma, International Cooperation Coordinator of USCC, presented a project aimed at countering Russian influence networks worldwide. The project is intended to draw the attention of Ukrainian communities abroad to the presence of Russia and pro-Russian opinion leaders in the political and media space of European countries.
“The Nordic Ukraine Advocacy Summit brought together community leaders working to strengthen Ukraine’s voice globally. Our unity and the fight against Russian influence are now critical to bringing Victory closer and ensuring the security of the Western world,” emphasized Solomiia Khoma during her presentation.
After the summit, its participants held a demonstration, calling on the entire civilized world to condemn the act of ecocide committed by Russia through the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, and to do everything possible to stop and punish the terrorist state.

The Kremlin is waging its war not only against Ukraine – Europe is also a battlefield for Russia against peace and freedom. Without the use of missiles, tanks, or artillery, but through networks of influence and agents. Statements about the “ambiguity” of Russia’s obvious crimes voiced by pro-Russian politicians, and the promotion of isolationist policies in Western countries under the guise of focusing on domestic issues, are vivid and clear examples of Russia’s agent networks.
The enemy seeks to drag out the war, force Ukraine to the negotiating table, and push it toward a ceasefire in order to accumulate forces for a new attack.
“The most decisive times for Ukraine are still ahead, so the main task of Ukrainian communities abroad is to preserve unity and make loud calls to world leaders in support of Ukraine. Victory is the responsibility of each of us, wherever in the world we may be,” emphasized Solomiia Khoma.
The organizers of the summit and the demonstration are partners of the Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Center in Sweden Nordic Ukraine Forum.
We express our gratitude to the summit sponsors, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation / Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Nordic Countries Project and Stockholm Free World Forum (Frivärld) for their support in organizing the event and their participation in the Ukrainian struggle.
