Russia uses its influence through membership in international organizations for only one purpose
Russia’s war against Ukraine has opened the world’s eyes to many horrific realities. In particular, it has exposed the “activities” of structures operating under the auspices of the Red Cross—an organization that once enjoyed the highest level of trust worldwide. But not this time. Hiding behind the principle of neutrality, the Red Cross is attempting to conceal the fact that, in its name, Russian terror against Ukrainians is being supported.
The Russian Red Cross is stained with the blood of Ukrainians
At present, the Ukrainian office of the ICRC is the only one that has condemned these actions of the Russian Red Cross and called on partners within the organization to take strict measures against the Russian office.
The Russian Red Cross is one of the fronts in Russia’s hybrid warfare strategy. This pattern will continue to grow, limiting Western countries’ support for Ukraine.
