Ukrainian security and cooperation centre (USCC) is an independent analytics centre that specialises on national security aspects. Our mission is to support Ukrainian defence capability through analytics, strategic communications and partner projects that support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who shares our values and is committed to contributing to the strengthening of the state.
Requirements:
- Share the team’s values: support for Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty, and strengthening the state through professional activities.
- At least 1 year of experience in procurement (preferably in the public sector).
- Ability to establish effective communication with contractors.
- Practical experience in processing requests, preparing budgets, and receiving/shipping goods.
- Ability to build effective teamwork.
- Strong process organization and risk management skills.
What will you be doing:
- Oversee the procurement and delivery of goods (equipment, software, construction materials, automotive equipment, etc.).
- Communicate effectively and promptly with contractors.
- Communicate professionally with beneficiaries (as needed).
- Monitor work results and prepare reports.
- Work as part of a team with lawyers, accountants, and the project manager.
- Conduct market analysis and use it to prepare cost estimates.
