Ukrainian security and cooperation centre (USCC) is an independent analytics centre that specialises on national security aspects. Our mission is to support Ukrainian defence capability through analytics, strategic communications and partner projects that support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We are looking for a Copiwriter who shares our values and is committed to contributing to the strengthening of the state.
Requirements:
- Share the team’s values: support for Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty, and strengthening the state through professional activities.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and strong writing skills.
- At least 2 years of experience working in the media, the public sector (NGOs) or analytics.
- A deep understanding of Ukraine’s socio-political context.
- Ability to work with primary sources and analytical reports, and to transform complex analysis into engaging content for a broad audience.
- Ability to write vividly, structurally, and persuasively without unnecessary fluff.
- Familiarity with topics related to national security, defense, and military analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Writing articles, columns for leading media outlets, press releases, and news stories.
- Transforming complex reports into clear and engaging longreads or series of publications.
- Working in synergy with analysts to verify facts and with communications specialists to determine the tone of the texts.
